Illustrated hiking maps for Voorland Groningen, a book about walking through the Dutch province of Groningen, focusing on the human influences in the landscape, published by nai010. The book is based on four themes which are changing the Groningen landscape and each hike is an embodiment of these themes. In order of the maps below they are: Rising sea levels and salinization, earthquakes caused by gas extraction, diminished biodiversity and the use of agricultural poisons and finally the future and sustainability.
